Glad I Saw It: Winter Rain

I can’t begin to tell you how hopeful this dreary, grey, cold rain has made me today. I don’t even mind that a corner of my basement has sprung a leak in response.

Please rain, please help melt away the snow and ice before the next snow arrives!

  1. We need some winter rain here in San Diego. We don’t have any snow to melt; we just need water.

  2. It really says something about our weather when this kind of day does leave you hopeful. I was so happy to have temps above freezing that I didn’t even care if it was dark and rainy. It’s a shame we can’t truck some of this snow across the country and send it where it’s needed.

We got our couple days of rain here too, turned everything to mud! Here’s hoping for better weather for you!

I’m surrounded by snow with a warm up in the low 40’s today! I’m ecstatic…melt baby melt. I’m taking the kids outside and basking in the sunshine and above freezing my a** off temperatures. Just in time, of course, for more snow to fall and our nose hairs to start freezing again next week. It’s a seasonal defective disorder epidemic in my neck of the woods this winter.

  5. Wah. I want rain so badly. We’re in a drought, and everything feels dry and burned to a crisp here. 😦 But I’m glad you guys have a break in the everlasting snow!

I’m glad I’m not the only one with a leaky basement. Can’t wait for winter to turn into spring!
